A lot of Krautrock is static and rigid. I don't mean that derisively, just an observation. Obviously this doesn't apply to everything. I'm thinking more along the lines of Neu!, Kraftwerk, and to an extent Can, and less along the lines of Amon Duul II or Popul Vuh.

Yeah I used the wrong terminology really, I meant, less experimental.
