Being indecisive on a dropkick murphys/bad religion show!

<< < (3/9) > >>

Coonstar:
Yep! They are playing the same show.

**pats Rubby** :(

I seem to have only one friend who's coming along with me o_o I guess I'll have to befriend fellows once I get there! But yeah, Rubby- you're right. Blatant unprovoked violence doesn't just seem to happen around here in Vancouver. Of course two folks were shot in a club a month or so back. But those are clubs, and the PNE Forum has bleachers for god's sake!

ImRonBurgundy?:

--- Quote from: Coonstar ---Haha I think I'll take it sober. Anybody know what sort of material they'd be playing on this tour? Because I'm not familiar with Bad Religion at all. What would be their important albums?

How Could Hell Be Any Worse?, Suffer, No Control, Against the Grain, and Generator are generally regarded as the definitive Bad Religion albums.  the more recent stuff they've done since the return of Mr. Brett hasn't been too bad, either.  just stay away from The Grey Race, No Substance, and The New America.  and don't bother with Into the Unknown, unless you want a good laugh.

Was that at Richards? I think I heard about that.
Still, I wouldn't worry about it.

Joseph:
Yeah, that was at Richards, and if I remember correctly, they are no longer going to be holding rap concerts are Richards because of this.

Corcarpemei:
Definitely go.  You shouldn't be in any danger of getting hurt, if that's your major concern.  I saw the Dropkicks and the Casualties in the Avalon in Boston on St. Patty's day two years ago and it was peachy keen (keep in mind that this is their hallmark show every year).  Sure, I volunteered to join in the mosh, but you don't have to; and besides at these shows, even the people who seem to be beating the shit out of each other are really looking out for one another.
