Okay, TIMELINE!

Taking Back Sunday and Brand New form.

Jesse Lacey of Brand New and Johny Nolan of Taking Back Sunday are good buddies.

One day, Jesse's girlfriend cheats on him. With his best friend John.

They argue over the phone, declare eachother nemesis and hang up.

In the following weeks, they each write a song about each other. Lacey writing 'Seventy times 7' and Nolan writing 'There's no I in team'.

Michelle Nolan starts dating Adam Lazara of Taking Back Sunday.
He's a dick and keeps cheating on her, they break up.

John Nolan leaves Taking Back Sunday because this hurt his feelings.

After everybody involved cries for a while, except Adam Lazara who keeps having sex with teenage girls who are totally in love with him, Taking Back Sunday recruits two new members and starts performing again.

 John and Jesse make up and John tours with Brand New, manning the merch tables.

 Michelle Nolan looks are herself in the mirror and gets full on pretty.

Soon, the Nolans have another band everybody is happy. Except Jesse Lacey who still cries at the end of his songs.

Edit: (Did Chris Nolan just direct the Prestige? Damn I wanna see THAT movie)

Personally, I just find Taking Back Sunday songs to be hilarious.

I mean "You could slit my throat and with my one last gasping breath I'd apologize for bleeding on your shirt", how can anyone keep a straight face through that?

i love "You're So Last Summer" that song's amazing.  they have Flavor Flav dancing around and lipsyncing in the music video.  it's kinda funny.

Taking Back Sunday (who I'm assuming your talking about) suck. They list Fugazi as an influence, who do not suck.

Before this thread does maybe get actually locked can I just say how much I think Jesse Lacy sucks?

As a side point I'm sick of crappy bands ruining good genres (notbally punk and metal) just stop it already.
