Notebook
« on: 12 Jul 2006, 01:05 »

hi!
I'm proud because I actually managed to draw a person who looked sort of decent last night. :)
And, coincidentally, it's  on my webcomic.
www.drunkduck.com/Notebook

It's a little early to be promoting the comic, but, there it is.
What it is, i've got a forum, and all the forum members can submit a comic to the Notebook webcomic, that way none of us has the burden of a full comic to ourselves.
It's early stages so far though.

It's updated a few times since then, the most recent one was drawn by someone on my forum.

I like it. How often do you update?

I do find Drunk Duck annoying though ... pages load and then you always have to scroll around to get the comic in the centre of your screen to read it. I also use drunkduck for my comic (zombie love) and no amount of playing around with the format tools seems to cure it.

we update whenever a member of the forum submits something... and if masses of people submit things at the same time, i'd post two a week. It's all very 'casual'. :) It's basically a place for us to practice. I doubt we'll get an actual 'readership' other than fellow forum members.
Yeah, drunk duck is weird with sizing sometimes, and also weird with logging in.

Thanks Nettle. I followed the link across and joined the Notebook ... its crazy over there, very friendly and totally insane!
I had a weird time logging into Drunk Duck yesterday. My daughter joined so for the first time ages I had to log out and she submitted her details/confirmed her account etc. When I tried to get back in it took upwards of 10 tries to actually get on.

Good Grief! I had no sooner posted it in Photobucket than it was on Drunk Duck for the world to see! That is fast! Thank you!

I'm trying hard to resist doing more Ninja strips ... those guys are just too easy to draw!

yeah i guess i was a bit fast! But, the comic doesn't have any sort of update schedule, and the other one had been up for a few days...
Ninjas are also great to read.
