What O/S do you run

Well I chose Windows because that's what I'm running on my main computer.
Windows XP + Blackbox

My laptop on the other hand uses Ubuntu.

I was like you until first year uni.

Now I use Windows for gaming, and that's it. Linux is just so much better at everything else I do.
