I never much cared for The Cure, so I'm not tremendously familiar with their work...one group that I do enjoy immensely, however, is The Violet Burning, and I've heard The Cure listed as one of those 'RIFY' bands...might be worht checking out, anyway...
Also TVB's singer, Mike Pritzl, has a solo album out under the name The Gravity Show...the album is called Fabulous Like You and it's pretty neat...all kinds of darker electronicky sounding songs about love and monsters!
