Heh, what a difficult question! I can't pick just one, so here's the ones that came to mind:
Xenogears
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy Tactics
Half-Life 2
Warcraft III
Command and Conquer Red Alert: Retaliation for the playstation (Not a great game on its own I guess, but had so much fun with multiplayer link games back in the day)
I dunno. I could likely think of many others if i thought about it too long.
Some of the above posts seem intriguing, being games I've not played. I think I'm really gonna have to find that 'Stronghold' game...
