Stupidest genre names

The term undercore is particularly evil because it was invented by Dea...Dea...those guys...

Going back to nintendo bands, there are things like The Advantage, The One Ups, etc which are bands that simply cover themes and songs from nintendo, most of them belonging to either 16-bit and 32-bit consoles. AFAIK they do not compose their own material, in fact, some are overzealous about the technicality of the task, refusing to make it sound more rock-like. (Minibosses being an exception)

And then there are things like Hella, which are supposedly, nintendo-inspired rock. But just what the hell that means, i can't say.

I personally prefer nintendogrindcore, a la The Locust and Eddie Edwards.

As for stupid genre names, I'd go for Epic Hollywood Metal. As for stupid genres, Pornogrind wins.

Also, I think "Groove Metal" is misleading as I think of Kyuss and other bearded stoner guys and not Machine Head when I hear the name.

EDIT: Also, Forest Folk is a stupid thing to call these new Finnish underground folk acts.
