One of the greatest covers ... mainly because it was completely out of left field for me, I think is Cradle Of Filth's version of 'Devil Woman' by Cliff Richard.

Loved that.

Also ... Skyclad's Emerald ... yummie.

Will:
Converge's cover of "Clean" by Depeche Mode was pretty awesome...surprisingly close to the original, as well...

Testament's cover of Metallica's Holier than Thou actually made that song good.

Will:
I'm always partial to hardcore covers of shitty 80's new wave...

Botch's cover of Rock Lobster was great...also love Dillenger Esc Plan's cover of Rebel Yell...

Did you just refer to the B52's as "Shit 80's New Wave"? The hell dude. The B52's are fucking ace.
