AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I MISSED SCOTT MCCLOUD!!

Yeah, so I'm grumpy.  Not only was I working the evening Scott McCloud was at MIT, but tomorrow (saturday) he will be one friggin' block from where I work for a book signing and I can't get there while he'll be there!!!

I loathe retail.

So, did anybody else make it?

Wow.  You'll never guess what happened.

I went to my boss today and said "Hey, could I get a half-hour ~ 45 minutes to go to a book signing?"

"Who is it?"

"Scott McCloud.  He's a comic book author/artist."

He gave me a look.  Turns out my boss knew Scott when they were kids!  Anyway, I got to go and Scott kinda remembered him  (though when I told my boss what he said afterwards, he said Scott was remembering his cousin with the same name.)

So I suggest you go see him if you get the chance.  He's pretty funny in person.
