Last movie you saw, that you actually thought was any good..

I realize this is in response to an old post but WHAT!?
Friend with Money was marketed as a comedy. It was only a show about how fucked up that group of friends was. Worst movie I've seen in quite some time.
If it had been marketed as a melo-drama it would have been mediocre.

The Departed was great, but it left me walking out of the theatre with an even bigger potty mouth and intense shock.
Marie Antoinette was pretty good in my opinion; I guess it helped that I've read her biography so I knew everything that was going to happen. It got kinda slow at times, but the costumes and setting were fantastic.
And I can't help but admit it - Casino Royale really did it for me. I think I have this new thing for extremely buff men with intense blue eyes. Besides, an actually flawed James Bond? Priceless.
And Borat? Three words.
Funniest. Movie. Ever.
At least for people who aren't morally or politically or religiously uptight.

i saw that one yesterday and i really liked it until they started randomly shooting each other.
but the best movie i've seen in a long long time was easily in my father's den. i really loved it.

As stated before, Bowie as Tesla was effin' awesome, and the concept of warring magicians was just cool. Sure, it had its problems (as have most of the 'otherwise awesome' movies i've seen lately - The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine etc.), but it was a lot of fun, too.

I need to see this movie so so so badly. Stupid Italy. <3 Bowie as Tesla. I was so excited when I first heard he'd be doing that.
The last good movie I saw was V for Vendetta, rather late. I don't get to see movies in theaters very often.
I saw Snakes on a Plane twice, though, before I left the US. zomgbestmovieof2006.
