I would have Our Endless numbered days WITH a few other select Iron and Wine songs, such as Promising Light and Muddy Hymnal from The Creek Drank The Cradle.
To lighten the mood a little I might have "Funeral" by the Arcade Fire jammed.

It seems like the perfect song for the ending of a movie that didn't end the way everyone wanted it to.
