Movies that changed the way you watched other movies
IronOxide:
I saw the movie "Memento" just once and I now follow plots a good amount better than I ever did before. I'm not sure what I do differently now, I just can follow crazier stuff more easily now.
ayePod:
Mullholland Drive. If you've seen it you'll know why.
Luke C:
Dark Water.
Made me realise that if a flim is THAT bad after an hour I should cut my losses and just leave.

Luke C:
I felt exactly the same way about Waking Life.
Eraserhead was another one that got me to more or less write off weirdness for weirdness' sake, though to be fair, I don't totally hate all the films of Guy Maddin.
As for completely changing the way I watch movies...I think that award would go to Jacob's Ladder.
NEStitch:
Casablanca changed the way i view love forever
Feast changed the way i look at horror movies evera gain, haha
oh, and Cinema Paradiso changed how i saw films as a form of beauty in some circumstances
