I saw the movie "Memento" just once and I now follow plots a good amount better than I ever did before. I'm not sure what I do differently now, I just can follow crazier stuff more easily now.

I felt exactly the same way about Waking Life.

Eraserhead was another one that got me to more or less write off weirdness for weirdness' sake, though to be fair, I don't totally hate all the films of Guy Maddin.

As for completely changing the way I watch movies...I think that award would go to Jacob's Ladder.

Casablanca changed the way i view love forever

Feast changed the way i look at horror movies evera gain, haha

oh, and Cinema Paradiso changed how i saw films as a form of beauty in some circumstances
