And do you realize how retarded it sounds bragging about all the bands you get to see for so little? You do realize that everyone else gets to see those bands too, right? The fact that someone pays to go to one festival doesn't mean thay can't go to another festival on a different date (I can see where this might be confusing for you). I'm seeing TV on the Radio and the Black Keys in the next two months. I could see the Hold Steady and the National but those bands are really fucking boring. Hmmm, so is everything Willie Nelson has done for the last 10 years. Did you hear that shit he put on the last album? And Neil Young and Willie Nelson aren't "past their prime"? Are you going to the show with your parents? Wait, Grizzly Bear has one decent song and boy, if anything is sleep-inducing... those are the best artists you're seeing?

I have bad taste in music coming from someone who just spent $97 to see the RHCP headline a shitty ONE DAY festival.
And yeah, I went to a festival this summer too. $115 for four days.
Oh, and comparing the Flaming Lips to Neil Young and Willie Nelson is absurd. Two of them are legends, one of them is an overrated band who had one great album and a few decent ones. Can you make the connection?
