DVD RW to DVD R

Hey guys I wonder if you could help me with something I have these DVD's of some animes which my friend taped for me on his DVD player however when I came to play them on my DVD player it didn't work but it does work on my computer so I wondered if any of you guys knew how to change the formats of the DVD files so i can play it on my TV.

Hrm. Sounds like a media compatibility issue.  DVD-R vs DVD+R.  Do you know the model of your DVD player?

Not a clue hang on (goes and check) Nope can't find it I know it is able to play Region 0 DVD's so its quite advanced. My friends DVD is mega able to recored and do everything mine looks like an technically inferior brother. Any help would be appeciated

Knowledge of who makes it, and what model it is will help to decide the best type of media for it.

Well, you don't really need to do much; just clone the DVD from one media to another.  Nero should be able to do that.
