Need some help...

screwjack:
If you pick any Misfits songs, skip on the Last Caress though.  The whole I killed your baby and raped your mother thing might not go over too well if anyone is paying atention to lyics.

Will:
If I thought I could get away with it, I'd play Pig Destroyer's "Natasha" but I don't think that would go over so well...

The other tricky thing is that I'm doing this through my day job, so I have to represent our station as well...if I accidentally piss anybody off, I'll be getting chewed out the next Monday.  Thanks for the suggestions though, and hopefully they keep coming...

Tommy, do you have any specific songs I could look up?  I'm not really familiar with either one of these bands.

Praeserpium Machinarum:
Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party or Heard Somebody Cry
His Name is Alive - Get Your Curse On(perhaps)
Kaizers Orchestra - Død Manns Tango
Of Montreal - Chrissie Kiss the Corpse(a bit too graphic perhaps)
Some Zutons would be ideal, a whole lot from their debut and
The Zutons - You've Got a Friend in Me

The Zombies would only work if people actually knew who they were.

IronOxide:
You're going to need some All Mighty Senators there. Perhaps "Giant Steps" or "Kung Fu Masters" would be good. Also some of Beck's faster stuff is both good and fun. "Sexx Laws" = perfection.

The Hammered:
Some early Sonic Youth ("Protect Me You," "Ghost Bitch," "Halloween," etc.) could fit into a Halloween theme, but by your description the kids who'll be there would probably hate it. Also, they wouldn't fit at all into a dance environment, except for maybe some of the more up-tempo songs like World Looks Red, Brother James or Death Valley '69.

However, the Ramones' "I Don't Wanna Go Down to the Basement" and "You Should Never Have Opened That Door" should be great for it. Especially the latter.

Finally, the Decemberists' "Shankill Butchers" could work, although the kids might find it too slow.
