How to start a forum?

I'm looking to start a forum of my own for my site but I don't know how to do the programming. Does anyone know if there's a site that hosts forums?

whos your host? do you have cpanel?
if cpanel = true then
got fantastico and install phpbb2 or other similar apps
if cpanel = false then
google forum hosting (bravenet :-D) or install something else like SMF
if all = false then
find a new host

I have yahoo hosting the site. Do you have a link to googles forum hosting?

I host through yahoo as well and I use phpBB.  I believe yahoo even offers that somewhere in their maze of menues.  That or I got the stuff from the phpBB website and just read the instructions (it was a year ago so I don't remember).  Either way, relatively easy.  Just google it to find the site.
