I think you can call Borknagar progressive black metal. Kind of like Enslaved.

I wouldn't, which is why I recommended their second album.

I kinda feel that way too. The songs on "International 666" are very piecemeal sounding with riffs being shoved up against each other without any apparent attempt at creating a cohesive whole. The music doesn't seem to purposefully try for a "schizo" aesthetic in the way of Mr. Bungle or Naked City, so I think that counts against its lack of flow even moreso. Still, I do enjoy a lot of the individual sections of the songs, but the songs as wholes leave a lot to be desired.

Aren't most or all of Burzum's material owned by Nazi groups at this point as well?

It sounds like Jeph is downloading them all anyway, but still.
