Bond, James Bond
Luke C:
So who has seen Casino Royale? I saw it last night an ejoyed but the ending seemed poorly structured. As with most Bond films if you like the rest (or most of them) you'll like this. If you don't like Bond films you wont like this.
My favourite line:
Bond: Martini please
Waiter: Shaken or stirred?
Bond: Does it look like I care?
bujiatang:
we're going tonight after work.

I saw it at midnight last night (California time). As a person who read the original book, and several other of Ian Fleming's books, I had to say this...
BLOODY BRILLIANT. For the most part matches the mood of the original book. Of course, they had to add a lot of stuff to the movie (like the whole first hour of the film) but they got the mood right.
The Bond of the books was a heartless killer, not a charming womanizer with a vanishing car and other high-tech gadgets. Sean Connery had it right. Timothy Dalton had it right, except fans showed little interest for whatever reason.
Daniel Craig gets it right. Even the memorable last line of the original book (which I won't repeat) gets into the film more or less intact near the end.
Oli:
My favourite line in every bond film is:
"Hush, man talk!"
Sean connery is the best bond, and Dr No is the best film, although I am yet to see casino royale.
Slick:
Going tonight! I can't wait, I love the idea of Craig as Bond. Different, but I was never a big fan of Moore.
