I have to know...

Oh lordy I have to know...

Does anyone remember the show Freakazoid? It  was on the WB for a few years and I do beleive it was the best animated show on television ever. But none of my friends remember it, much less know if they like it or not. So I throw this to you, Questionable Content forum, so full of esoteric knowlege of late 90's popculture, do you remember?

I remember watching Freakazoid and Pinky and the Brain back to back. There was some interesting fact about Pinky and the Brain which i can't seem to remember, anybody know any?

that slogan is a good slogan. so good, in fact, I think it should be applied to other things. like, "there's no wrong way to hit your spouse." or "there's no wrong way to commit nonconsentual sodomy."

oh yeah fab show, alongside Bunkers and Chip and Chap Nutpatrol(that's it's called in Danish), it's one of those shows that can get me all nostalgic. Anybody else angry about how they fucked up Heroes of the Air(again I don't know the english title, but it's with Baloo and stuff), now it's pure manure :(

YES!!! DEAR HOLY SHIT ON A STICK YES!!!

It was great for a while, but then they just forced so many restrictions on it that it stopped being funny. Check out the Toby Danger episode. Fried Gold.

The best cartoon ever.  The episode where he goes back in time and stops Pearl Harbor from happening? Comedic genius.

I loved that show. They should bring it back. No, not new bullshit like Freakazoid XTREME or any bullshit like they've ruined everything good with, just reruns.

Fuck the WB.

Bunkers,  Chip and Chap Nutpatrol, Heroes of the Air

I'm feeling adventerous, and I'm going to translate these as Bonkers (a cartoon about an orange cat as a cop.) Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers (about chipmunks teaming up with a couple mice to solve big mysteries.) and Heros of the Air was definitely called Tale Spin. (A pun for Spinning Tales and, given it involved a plane, Tail Spins)

I was a big fan of the slow lion mechanic on talespin. Like, Lions are the kings of the jungle, yet he was small and weak and a little dumb and a tiger was waaaay biger than him and....a buisness man? good stuff.

Also, I just really want them to release freakizoid ondvd, screw another stint on network, network only lets you down.

Here's another one: Does anybody remember a show where the hero's fingers turned into keys and they turned into cg car robots and fought cg vampire car robots? It's been a few years on that one.

Oh, that and Dino riders. Just picked a VHS of that up from Salvies.

Sounds about right, the plane is called The Wild Duck in Danish..

This post was brought to you by Anubis Markets, a division of Osiris Foods. So shop at the sign of the jackal-headed man for food so good, you can eat it.

Histeria was better though.

I don't know how to quote people, but I want sam to know that though her opinion is important and valuable to both me and the rest of society, and that on matters of opinion there is no right or wrong. She's still worng. Sam, you're wrong. Histeris was good, but not better. I'm sorry that this may cause a rif in our relationship, but really, histeris? The baby was funny. I'll give you that, but it's like saying that SilverHawks was better than Thundercats. it's just not true.

Freakizoid>Histeria, RoboRovers, Pinky and The Brain, and many episodes of Animaniacs.

um, but we can still hang out, right?

for most of that last poste I confused the "S" key with the "A", so um... histeria, not "histeris". I don't even know what that would be. Maybe some greek superhero or something. I dunno

Oh man, good times, good times. That show was awesome and a half times infinity with like, a billion cherries on top. Every time I hear that show's name I end up singing the theme to myself for the rest of the day.

Wee!! I remember it! It was on Cartoon Network -years- ago... (Well, not that long ago). My sister and I liked the theme song...
Freakazoid, Freakazoid, runs around in his underwear, Freakazoid, Freakazoid.

Of course, that's the only part we ever remember...

Brilliant show, absolutely class.

The spit-take joke was brilliant.

'Can I be your sidekick?'
*Freakazoid spits out milkshake for about three minutes*
'...Yes.'
