My mum helped a whole bunch, but I did a lot of the sewing, designed the colour scheme and bought the materials, and did the 'ally' and blanket stitch.

That's very nice! I just started sewing myself, and recently tried to make a bag. It turned out horribly, though. Hopefully my skills can progress enough to make something as lovely as this.
