Don't see why. I'm pretty sure Sascha Baron Cohen must have invented Borat in at least 1999, whereas Zlad was invented in 2003 in order to promote a satyrical travel book, and has since been presumably retired (well, he didn't make a Eurovision entry this year...presumably he is permanently banned after 'I Am The Anti-Pope').
