Hey,
Just wondering, because I'm too poor for a new iMac right now -_-, is it possible to install OS X onto my (shamefully) natively Windows laptop?
I don't want a dual boot or anything, just a straight up install.
If you can do it, how?

Yes, but not legally, and not without some patching. It also requires a rather recent processor.

New macs are too expensive to buy.
If you want to get familiar with Mac OS X, you may buy on eBay an old, cheap iMac G3 slot-in FW 400++ MHz. The OS X 10.2 will run well on it, just put 512++ MB of RAM, you'll have fun and it's quite affordable.

eh, I've found they hold their resale value far too well for eBay to be at all worthwhile in a price/performance sense. Cubes in particular, but others as well.

Thanks to Jenno for the link and everyone else,
I'm already familiar with OS X, my computer at work is a shiney new iMac.
I think its just time to start saving up -_- I need a new computer anyway, my laptop sucks.
Thanks.
