Brimstone
« on: 21 Dec 2006, 06:43 »

I wasn't sure should I or should I not reply in the other topic including Brimstone so I'll just write a new one.

Our lameass television recently aired a serie called Potępieniec (Brimstone) [It does not mean Brimstone at all]
I loved every second of watching the serie. Did anyone here feel such joy in the time He/She watched it?

Or am I lame  :-P

If you speak of the amazingly awesome show Brimstone, you are my new favorite person.

Brimstone is one of the best shows ever on TV. Witty, intelligent, and intense. People say Firefly got a crap deal from Fox, but Brimstone got it worse, having been cancelled with only a handful of episodes aired and then largely forgotten.

It is, however, fantastic. John Glover's portrayal of Satan pretty much defines the Devil for me. He is the Prince of Darkness in every way. The way they used Christian mythology to create such wonderful stories is incredibly impressive.

I lament quite a bit that it will never, ever have closure, unlike Firefly.

Hmm the devil creates the mood of the whole serie. I also liked the tattoos idea. Those eps when he didn't check the tattoo fading were less fun (didn't know how to write this one  :? )

When I found out there are no more episodes I thought I strangle my watchinbuddy

Yeah, there's a very few people who have ever seen it. I watched it when it first aired and again when the Sci-Fi Channel reran it. It's pretty darn sweet.

And Ash is a great villain.

I dont like the idea that I wont be able to watch it again... I never heard of it as well (to the time I actually watched it). Brimstone got some great notes in the net though. Pretty freakin cool
