My friend Yeo is in it, so I figure I might as well plug him, because he's got some really good songs up on there, my favorite is Backflips in the Kitchen

Also Dead Letter Circus and Dead Letter Opener are both fantastic bands, although the similarity in their names is pretty unfortunate.

I'm going to have a browse around now to see if any of the other bands I like entered this year, although most of my favorite bands that are eligable for entry don't seem to bother with it.

Edit: Ok, so The Kidney Thieves are in this, god I love these guys, Jack Muzak is pretty much the best frontman of any Brisbane band at the moment, and they have a live recording of their song Sex Panther up, which is fun as hell to dance to. I cracked up at their description on the Unearthed website: "The Kidney Thieves sound like a car-chase gunfight between a possessed gypsy and a vigilante clown, cruising the funk freeway at full throttle, leaving a trail of carnage and the faint odour of Parmesan"

The best part about this is their gear vehicle is an old panel beater painted up to look like an ambulance on acid, lovingly referred to as "The Jambulance"

Also I am not sure what their obsession is with Gypsies and Clowns, but whatever it is, it's hot

I hope these guys realise there's already a sucessful, well-known band by the name of Kidney Theives...
Industrial rock band from LA.

They sold a good few records, were on the soundtrack to a few films and at least one computer game, got quite big. Never signed to a major label though and they've split up so I doubt the name will be contested.

To be fair, once I did tell a dude about one of their gigs and he wanted to go untill he found it it was a different band, but if you think you can see an international band play for 10 bucks at the Globe theater, you're fucking retarded and deserve to lose your money anyway.
