Primal Scream's electronicy stuff is quite awesome. I especially recommend Evil Heat.

Isolee makes me shake my booty. It's actually kind of uncomfortable listening to them in public because people start to think I'm gay.

But if you fight fire with crystals, and ice bulbs, you will put the fire out and the crystals will turn to diamonds!

Can't go past Icelandic music... Has anyone heard of Mugison? I picked up a few of their albums while I was there, in a shop called 12 Tonur... You can open all the CDs in the shop and listen to them on their couch with these discmans, and they bring you an espresso! It's the best :) But yeah, there was heaps of good electronica to sort through. Iceland = good source of electronica.

While we're on the subject, Amiina (who did live strings & such for Sigur Ros) have released a couple of EPs, 'Seoul' and 'Animamina' which are ace

amiina rule! i saw them sans sigur ros just playing some stuff from their ep and upcoming album at a free concert in philly. afterwards i actually got to meet the girls and talked to them for a bit, going home with an autographed copy of their ep and one of the setlists they hand wrote and used for the show. good times.
anyway, they're not overly electronica. they definetly employ some laptoping in their music but a lot of it is strings/bells/glockenspiels/harmonium ect. so your reccomendation might be a tad misleading. still, a band well worth checking out.

I've not heard Evil Heat yet, but as far as the Scream's electonic stuff, XTMNTR is absolutely stunning.

Oh aye, I probably should've mentioned I was just biggin' 'em up because of the Icelandic connection. Not really an electronic band but quite awesome nonetheless.
