shockingly i think so too. i didn't know alienware even sold such inexpensive systems. still, the dell has slightly better hardware and is slightly cheaper. odds are i'll end up going with that. oh, and it has a free vista upgrade. still undecided though.....

I bought a MacBook Pro almost 12 month ago now, very satisfied with it. I mainly use it for Uni (setting up wireless networking in OSX is about 100*better then any other OS I've tried and that includes WPA encryption) and Watching DVD's (remote control is also very cool it means I can lie in bed with laptop on my desk and control dvd's / music etc without moving).
