(click to show/hide)Speaking of Aegon, his absence on the show may not indicate him being a pretender in the book. It could be the case that Connington's greyscale cuts through his forces and prematurely ends his campaign for good, leaving him unsuccessful and probably executed. Who can say for certain except G.R.R.M., his editors, and the people he's let in on the plot for the purposes of the show?

Ahhh, I thought you were saying that's why he didn't show up in the show, because they decided that happened off screen. (And using book stuff to make your point)
