Has anyone else heard about this game? It's original title in Japan was Chocobo and the Magic picture book, and it's so cute you're getting cavities right now, just reading about it. It's stateside release is on 04/03/07, and it will be called Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo tales. Here is the Japanese trailer.

Yeah, I remeber it, though i've never played it. It looked really nice. I found this music video on Youtube that takes all its images from the second game. Damn that ending is sad.

Game trailers have a long way to go before they can match movie trailers as far as "telling me what this is going to be like" and "this looks cool, I want to see it" goes. I suspect it may just be the Japanese/American cultural divide, but was I the only person who watched that and thought "what kind of game is this?? Straight RPG?? Monster battling?? Action/Adventure??"
