You know this would be cool if it became like a monthly or so thing.
Where the winner of the previous round would post a collection of short sounds or loops and everyone else had to make something out of it.

I am so fully behind this that I am going to make a communal myspace exclusively for the riffs involved.

Holy crap, this has actually inspired me to make music.
I'm currently making two versions, the hiphop version and the metal version.
Whether either version will see the light of day is another matter...

(I'll try and have them in tomorrow, I know I'm breaking the rules but... well I don't really care)

I couldn't make anything worthwhile out of that riff. I had a song but it was SHIT. DynamiteKid's is the winner of this competition, I think.

EDIT: See below for link...

Talk about crap... this is all I could come up with.

Mad props go to the following:

My boyz GC for the interlude, Willie to the Smith for the last of my rhymes, and, of course, my homie B. Boyd for tha five thousand dollar riff.

Okay, so I'm withdrawing my previous entry (negating any votes I may have gotten for it) and putting something new in, because I came up with a slightly better track for this competition.  Anyone who may have voted for my previous entry has their votes back.

Previous Entry (Just for the hell of it):

New Entry:

DJ Dr M - Ramblings of a Madman (eBay Style)

Enjoy!

How awesome was his latest album, the one Ben Folds produced/played on.

Thanks all. There's a particular song I have in mind, which has rapping in it anyway, but the opening drumbeat (and possibly even the opening music) is just asking to have a whole rap song made over it.
