Oh man, guys, I have a dilemma. I have wanted to play Supreme Commander ever since I heard about it, but I hear it is a massive resource hog. Still, I hear that it's also a fantastic game, and everything I've read about it makes me drool. Huge-scale battles, good unit balance, good multiplayer, emphasis on tactics over city-building and resource-gathering. . . the list goes on. Now, I'm getting a new computer, and it's pretty much a gaming laptop, but I still don't know how well I'd be able to run Supreme Commander. Another RTS I am considering getting instead if I determine that Supreme Commander is too much for my comp to handle is Medieval 2: Total War. I have been playing Rome: Total War for quite awhile now, and it is a darn good game, featuring, again, tactics over micromanagement, blah blah, the stuff I like. Still, the general consensus in the gaming world seems to be that SC is the best strategy game out there right now. I dunno, what do you guys think?
