Pie Related Playlist
« on: 24 Apr 2007, 20:37 »

My friends and I have monthly Pie Time and for the next one I want to have a playlist to put on. So, I'm looking for pie related songs to use. They don't have to be good, just anything that might be about (or even mention) pie. I've got the obvious ones already:

American Pie - Don McLean
Cherry Pie - Warrant (?)
Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch - The Four Tops

Any help? I know it's a really weird request. Regardless, thanks.

alright..i've got a couple things you could check out.

Lemon Demon - Pumpkin Pie

thought they're not about pie exactly, these two both mention it..

Ozma - Apple Trees (briefly in the beginning..making a wordplay with pie and pi, nonetheless)
Moxy Fruvous - King of Spain ( humble pie is said in there many times.. not the same, but the song is well worth listening to regardless)

Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch - The Temptations the Four Tops.

Ahem.

Right. I actually realized this mistake after I posted and logged off, but laziness... you know?

Also, I did find Honey Pie, but for some reason the only version they have on Ruckus (my first mistake) was by the King's Singers and it is hilarious.

If someone finds that Pi song, I'd love to have it also.

There's a zillion songs talking about wanting a slice of the pie, that sort of thing.  Only one that comes to mind right now that does it prominently is D'Angelo's Devil's Pie.

Wasn't Kate Bush's song Pi on her last album counting off the number too?
