I did find it funny, but there were several sequences where I wasn't quite sure if I was laughing with the movie or laughing at the movie. *cough* The Amazing Emo Man! *cough*

I thought the movie sucked something awful. He was in the spider man costume for all of ten minutes in the movie. I don't want to see tobey maguire swing around and act emo I wanna see spiderman. The acting was awful, the writing was subpar at best. The best character was killed off. The only good scene was the big action scene at the end. The movie was just bad.

Why was it impossible for me to convince my friends that this was the case? Mary Jane was almost immaculately unlikeable from the get-go.
Beyond that, you forgot to mention the bit where he runs in front of the American flag. Easily the funniest film moment this year.

God, it's been a couple weeks and I still loathe this movie with all the vile and venom of a something awful thread.
