Let's cast Watchmen
Ben yayayayayayayay:
I agree.
Plus, Frank Miller was deeply involved in the creation of both 300 and Sin City, which is one of the reasons why they stood so true to the source material.
Alan Moore on the other hand...
Cartilage Head:
Man you guys are frightening me. I don't want to think about a bad adaptation of Watchmen!
Ben yayayayayayayay:
Pray, who'd they get to play Death in Sandman?
the-artful-dodger-rodger:
--- Quote from: Anyways on 09 Jun 2007, 15:25 ---Would you rather be traumatized in the movie theater by a blunt action Watchmen? Better to prepare for the worst than be smacked in the face with another bad comic book conversion... Especially by Moore. His comic books are among the best in the world, but noone has managed to do even a semi-decent conversion of one of his comics...
To be honest though, as long as noone even fucking thinks of doing a Sandman movie, I'm fine.
Comics that MIGHT work out well as movies:
A re-make of Constantine/Hellblazer, sans Reeves as a blonde Briton
Preacher (potentially awesome)
--- End quote ---
why keep Reeves, why not hire a guy who is english and blond, if I could pick someone to play Costantine it would be Paul Bettany if not Bettany than Rhys Ifans. better than Reeves anyday
Inlander:
--- Quote from: Storm Rider on 08 Jun 2007, 22:32 ---Dr. Manhattan is supposed to exist in an emotional vacuum, which is certainly an area where Keanu Reeves excels.
--- End quote ---
An emotional vacuum is not the same thing as an intellectual vacuum.
