--- Quote from: Chad K. on 02 Mar 2009, 12:51 ---So, I'm selling my Epi Dot and an Epi Firebird VII and searching for a guitar that's got a vintage vibe, and is good for jazz and blues. I'm leaning toward a Hagstrom Viking at this point. Any suggestions?

Keep the Dot, sell the Firebird, and get the Viking. Easy!

Eh, I like the Dot. It sounds good, it's a gorgeous guitar, and the string action is unbelievable. But, the neck is a baseball bat, and a slight change in temperature and the thing is all kinds of out of whack. As for the Epi Firebird, it's a truly great guitar. Plays like butter, sounds amazing, but it's a little too gawdy for me. Red with gold hardware- not my cup 'o tea. I'm really digging that Hagstrom, though. Here's hoping some CL'er will jump on these.

So, guys. I've been contemplating it for many moons now, and I'm down to either picking the Fender Thinline Telecaster '72 reissue that's been at the store near me for ages (I really like the neck and it's got some wicked sustain), an Epiphone Dot or Sheraton, or some kind of Gretsch.

Gee, I've got a Dot for sale. Case, straplocks and everything...
imapiratearg:
Haha, how much?

I pm'd you to avoid spamming up Jeph's innerwebs.
