Depends on the cost.  I put a stupid amount of money into repairs on my Danelectro reissue because it has sentimental value.  I think I payed $180 for the guitar, and I've put almost that amount into it for repairs, etc.  If the sentiment is more important than the cash, go for it.

(the neck rout is big enough for a P-90 but we're putting a mini-humbucker in there, it will all be under a pickguard so it don't matter none)

Just-barely-transparent butterscotch with a black pickguard. Traditional all the way.
