There exists evidence, that the Kraken actually exists. In the waters near the near the arctic cirlces, there have been sightings of Cephalopods the size of a 100 feet.

I think that's pretty awesome. Who knows what lurks in the deep?

You should all probably be aware of Aquaman.
He's normally pretty cool until you mention the fact he's the least useful member of any super hero team.

I would pay to see Aquaman take on a Gyrados, or the Kraken for that matter.

In lab tests, the Giant Squid, smaller cousin of the Architeuthis Dux (Colossal Squid) has learned to open jars, proving it to be a highly intelligent predater as well. Cephalopods of these large sizes generally have a highly developed nervous system.
