(I'm sorry for cross-posting this but I cannot resist cross-posting this because it is so awesome that I can make a relevant cross-post from the soccer football world cup thread)

Apparently an octopus named Paul, from the Oberhausen Sea Life Centre in Germany, has been successfully predicting the results for the World Cup matches. The octopus has a 100% success rate on his predictions.

Actually the Octopus has 'a 100% success rate for Germany so far in this World Cup competition.' Which since I imagine they've only played three matches so far makes this kind of less impressive.

Yeah, and we don't hear anything about America's failed psychic rattlesnake, or the UK's 63% accurate psychic puffin.
