The Random Question Game
valley_parade:
That'd be a 1996 Epiphone Firebird III.
What's your view on religion as a whole?
Elizzybeth:
I was raised with an extreme distrust of religion--both my parents were raised Catholic and later rejected it in favor of Unitarian Universalist and Quaker churches, neither of which they attended with any frequency or particular devotion. I have come to believe that faith can be an enriching, important, even integral aspect of life for some people, and I respect that. I, however, cannot seem to really believe anything.
That said, I'm currently on my first trip to Europe; I went to mass at Notre Dame this evening, and it was gorgeous.
What was the best performance (concert, show, play?) you've ever seen?
jodizzle:
When Alice Cooper came to Australia for his Dirty Diamonds tour in 2005. (hopefully to be overshadowed by The Cure in a week or so).
What do you have on your favourite set of curtains?
turnipsquid:
Nothing... my favourite window-treatment is the one in my room, a minimalist row of Mardi Gras beads and other random hanging things dangling from the bare curtain rod. (I have Venetian blinds too. Don't worry.)
Random question: Have you ever helped a dying animal you found in the street / alley / yard / park, and if so, how? (Did it die, survive, or maul you and give you rabies, or all of the above?)
Kylos:
There was a mouse in the middle of the floor in my front room. My dog and I saw it at the same time... she got there first. I tried to help it once I made her let it go, but alas, it was too late.
Worst day ever.
Question.
I watched Hostel the other day with high expectations - it being referred to as the most gory film of all time - and was very disappointed. It was possibly the most ridiculous film of all time.. I was also disappointed because of the fact that it was made by idiots. What is the most disappointing film you've seen and why?
