ALso, RE: the trailer. The best joke from the movie to put in the trailer is about Alvin eating Theodore's poo? Movie of the year!

No. But I do realise that the original Chipmunk actors are some dudes with their voices pitch corrected. If they were sped up it wouldn't make a lot of sense.

Well I went and saw it last night (my friend's girlfriend wanted to see it and he tricked me into going so he wouldn't have to do it alone). It's not the original voice actors, it's Justin Long, Jesse McCartney, and some other guy. It's not something I'd watch again, but I guess if you have kids or a girlfriend who likes anthropomorphism, it's not terrible. The plot was basically about how the music industry fucks child musicians over. And it had a couple good laughs.

Dude, you think they had advanced pitch correction back in the early sixties?
Their voices were totally sped up. They sang to slowed-down tracks.
