Will the Wii become a Novelty Machine?

Is anyone else worried that the Wii is just becoming a "novelty machine"?  Most games out there for the Wii right now are just that.  Games like Warioware, Raving Rabbids, and Wii Sports/Play, where its all about "look what new and novel thing I can do with this wacky controller!" 

Due to this, there are very few games with actual substance to them coming out for the Wii.  Legend of Zelda, Super Paper Mario, etc.  Do you think the Wii is doomed to become nothing more than a novelty machine, or will developers start making some games that have more substance?

As for the original topic, see the "Not a Console War/Genocide" thread. We've discussed to death why the Wii is filled with a glut of gimick and halfassed games at present and will improve in the future.

And lets not kid ourselves obsessions, my mom's a one trick pony and we all know it.
