Peer-to-Peer File Sharing Programs
Baggy:
I think torrents seem confusing until you actually use them or someone shows you how, then you realize it's extremely easy. I suggest using azureus for your torrent application, and I often just use torrentz.com to search for what I want in torrent sites.
I still have to find a friend who can invite me to demonoid though.
johannaffendy:
talking from observation and experience, torrents do take some time to figure out if you're a first time user. and it's a lot harder to use if you're afraid to break new grounds.
MlKE:
I've had a lot of trouble teaching people how to use utorrent.
but I've never known anyone who has figured out torrents say it's not as good as what they were using, like limewire or ares.
I highly suggest using utorrent if you're a fan of full albums.
also: baggy, check your pm's
TrekkieTechie:
I use μTorrent and a variety of torrent search engines. A great way to pull down full albums and discographies.
MlKE:
but the search engines are also a great way to get an email from your service provider telling you to cease and desist.
i suggest using private trackers. they often have a better selection, and you're not going to get fucked over as easily.
