johannaffendy:
there's a photography thread, but what about lomography? anyone here prefer to "shoot first, think later"?

*in case you're wondering wth is lomography, it's not porn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lomography

TheBoredOne:
But you do realize that according to the laws of the internet, there is pornographic lomography out there.

Ally:
I have never actually developed a roll from the fisheye that I got from my birthday (I took a roll of color and I lost it) but yesterday I did some true shooting from the hip on a roll of b&w and my friend is letting me print at his house tomorrow.

I actually have a few problems with lomography (their cameras are "cool" because they are cheap, but the company - which was started by a couple of business students - completely overcharges) but I like the idea. I prefer normal photography, but lomography is a really fun way to mess around. I had a ton of fun with a Holga a few summers ago; see my first post in the photography thread.

Blue Kitty:
oh Rule 34, how I hate you

hm, this actually sounds interesting

Lunchbox:
I don't have a lomo camera, but I do take my compact DSLR with me everywhere, and I tend to add a lot of lomo effects to my daily portraits in Photoshop, so you could say I am a fan.
