I had tickets to see Minus the Bear and they CANCELED!! Booo. That would have been my last show.
But my next show will be Pinback. I have to drive four hours there and four back, but I'm goin', dernit. So happy they are touring!!!

Damn Pinback would be pretty cool. I'd do a 4 hour drive for them. Anywho. My last was a house show with Music Hates You, The Dumps and Celerity that got broken up by the popo 5 minutes before I got there. But, I'm going to see Daniel Johnston tommorrow night so it's all good.

Check out www.myspace.com/pinback (there are more tour dates listed there than there are on their site). They're playing several places. You might at least find a show you can drive four hours to see.

I saw Birthday Suits, Screamin' Cyn Cyn, and Empty Orchestra with a local Final Fight. Birthday Suits were all insane on stage jumping around screaming engrish and Screamin' Cyn Cyn had a fat lead singer with really tight tights, suspenders, and sparkly makeup (nothing else) on... so an entertaining live show. The music was pretty okay. It was dollar taps night, and that is why I went.
