pilsner:
Ted has done at least 5 shows in NYC so far this year.  I think I've been to three of them, and I didn't even particularly like Living With The Living.  You should time a trip to NYC with his next show :)

Katherine:
The first time I saw Ted was in NYC, they opened for Death Cab for Cutie at MSG.  They were great there but I liked seeing them in a smaller venue much better.

pilsner:
Definitely.  The Knitting Factory show that I've written about before where Ted "left his larynx on the stage" is still the best I've had, followed closely by all the times I've seen him at Irving Plaza.   I've gone to the South Seaport free shows that he's put on for the last couple of years, but since you can't really hear Chris Wilson, his brilliant drummer, the music loses a lot.  He gave a suprisingly intimate show at McCarren Park Pool this year though -- I guess because the acoustics there are almost like a bandshell.  Shame that last I heard they're going to be filling it with water.

Liz:
I also saw Ted Leo about a week and a half ago. It was a fantastic show.

This past Sunday I saw The Microphones/Mount Eerie with Modernstate. Also playing were Reporter (who kinda sucked) and Riesage (a local guy that's really good). All for $5. Oh hells yes.

amok:
You bastard :( Ted cancelled his UK tour just before he got to me. Jealousy+

Last show for me was Destroid/Painbastard/SITD on Saturday. One of the best of the year so far.
