What movie are you more excited for

<< < (4/6) > >>

kablaaamo:
I am so in the Gondry camp. The movie itself sounds amazing too, in terms of the idea he's running with.

....but, but, I read here that Jason Schwartzman is in the Wes Anderson movie? Conflicted!

Ishotdanieljohnston:
I just read up about the Gondry one. That sounds hillarious.

CamusCanDo:
I wasn't aware Gondry and Anderson had new films coming out. They do sound freaking awesome though, and I will be checking them out, along with Ponyo on the Cliff. But what I have been most excited for is '30 Days of Night'. Check the link for a trailer and a scene from the movie:

I'm also looking forward to Neil Gaiman's 'Coraline' and J J Abrams 'Cloverfield'.

KvP:
Miyazaki can do no wrong. Ever. Period.

I'm all Anderson-ed out. Can't stand Jason Schwartzman, either. I'm expecting Darjeeling Limited to be like The Life Aquatic which is to say, whimsical and empty. But I'd like to be surprised.

As for Be Kind, Rewind, the premise is awesome, and Gondry has true vision. The only thing that could fuck this up is Jack Black.

Really looking forward to the next Coen Brothers movie, No Country For Old Men, which looks amazing based solely on Javier Bardem's pressure-gun wielding psycho. We might be looking at the new Hannibal Lecter.

Ally:
Hey! I'm a teenager! I like whimsical and empty!

These are three directors that I like a lot, too! I just watched the Be Kind, Rewind trailer and I'm really impressed. I think Jack Black looks okay. Mos Def looks more than okay.

Howl's Moving Castle was sooo cute. I really want to see Nausicaa! Miyazaki is such a crowd-pleaser, I've watched his movies with all types of people and they nearly always go over well.
