Recommendation Needed: A good WMV to MPEG converter

I need the line on a good (and at least partially free) WMV to MPEG conversion program. Any suggestions?

I used the free trial of this software to convert some files to wmv so I could play them on 360/TV.  It worked well for that, and it allows conversion between pretty much all the common video formats.

It does WMV and MPEG, and everything else you could possibly want, down to zipping your pant back up for you.
