So therefore you have some undeniable and deep connection with him? You might have passed him on the street and not known about it! Why is that even the slightest bit important unless you actually knew him? Admittedly this sounds snarky but I just don't understand why people automatically think that coming from the same town (which now more refers to coming from the same city) as a famous person or even a quasi-famous person actually means anything.

It is just exciting to know that my city doesn't just produce shitty people, but also really interesting crazy kids tv show people as well. It's interesting, like how it is interesting that ice tea was first served in St. Louis, as was the waffle cone.
It's just interesting trivia.

C'mon, you just have to love that. And, if anyone didn't already know, it's the lead singer of this very band who created the show in the first place.
