--- Quote from: Drill King on 16 Dec 2007, 09:05 ---Also, Gemmwah, I more mean what sorta studs, the ones I have now really suck but they're the only ones I have that I can wear(high metal sensitivity) and I don't want the holes to grow over, I'm trying to think about what sort've studs to invest in. Also, I have no idea honestly what size my bcr is, but I can find out for you if you're looking to get one it wouldn't be any trouble.

With allergies to metal it's usually nickel that causes the reactions, but you can get a large selection of different studs in gold, silver and steel. Only the cheapest and crappiest jewellery is made with nickel these days anyway so you just need to go to a reputable store and have a look at what they've got. I usually don't pay more than £5 for a pair of earrings and more often than not, get them at Claire's. You could go to your piercer and ask them what they'd recommend as well. Just look around and get what you like. I just buy whatever I like and put them in, if it turns out it's nickel and my ears swell up then I take all my lobe ones out for the day, and when it's gone down just put my regular ones back in.

Also, wearing little silver or steel hoops can look quite cute too.

And if you could find out the size that'd be fantastic, then I can order mine and get rid of this damn barbell.

Drill King:
See the problem is, I've had bad reactions with gold and certain grades of silver. I've found the only things that I can buy without worry is surgetical steel and titanium, however, for example with Claire's at least here I've found that I tend to have a reaction to them(even if it says steel), I can wear them for a few hours but only in my main lobe piercing(I've had it since birth so it's a little sturdier then my seconds which aren't that old), but even then I react. So I tend to have to sink a bit more money into metal quality.

Also, I seem to have some sort of swelling that popped up just after that picture, it looks a bit like a boil but I'm not sure what the hell is going on, so I'm planning a trip to my piercer and ask them for what they think I should do, when I go I'll gladly ask what the sizing is, and I'll send it to you via PM okay?

Ally:
Yeah, pleaaase just take this conversation in general to PM.

Also, more pictures of proudly big noses pls

BobJoeJim:
