I also dug a massive pit in the summer. It's probably the biggest pit i will ever dig, and i am immensely proud of it.
Said pit with diggers (I have the blue/black shorts on)
Us jumping into said pit.
After that jump i almost got stuck because the bottom of the pit was really not solid and i went right up to my thigh on one leg.
